For the summer of 2023, I joined the Content team at the Toronto International Film Festival as a Social Media Producer. In my role, I've been able to produce content about film for social platforms, including Letterboxd, while also attending in-person events, such as World Premieres at the festival, and interviewing the biggest filmmakers and actors. It's been an amazing summer working on a team for a renowned festival for film lovers around the world. Below are some content pieces I've produced.
For the festival interviews, I was either asking the questions or behind the camera. After leaving the red carpet press line, we would then edit the footage for publishing right away on our social channels.
The first two include these global stars to complete a heart for our audience. It originally started off as just for Korean talent because their fans appreciate these moments. This idea evolved into getting other talent to engage with fans like this as well. We've seen success and Jessica Chastain even used our footage for her own video (Twitter, Instagram).

Below are interactions we had with Lil Nas X. We do have questions answered from him but we decided that these moments are what fans would love to see because of his humour and internet personality.

Below are interviews with Willem Dafoe and Camila Morrone. These were for our IG stories when we cut the footage and uploaded right after the red carpet premiere. From our graphics team, we used their #TIFF23 branded assets to create title cards in app.
Below is a GIF I made for Wong Kar Wai's birthday, celebrating dancing scenes in his film. We use this format a lot to create GIFs and stitch them together to showcase the work of our favourite filmmakers and actors.

Below are some fun tweets. The first one was for Pride month. It references Cate Blanchett's "the gays" interview, which people who are chronically online would understand (Link to Tweet). The second post was for Robert Pattison's birthday, quoting his iconic lines in our favourite films (Link to Tweet).
The first post was for Margot Robbie's birthday, before the release of Barbie, to celebrate her filmography (Link to Tweet). The second post was for Pride month, highlighting the rainbow colours in the film "Moonlight" (Link to Tweet).
Below is an Instagram carousel of 10 actors with film stills of two of their films for the prompt: "Same actor, but they'd be best friends. Who did we miss?" This was a call to engagement for our audience to comment their own combinations (Link to post).
